When you visit Newbold Opticians for an eye examination, you will be given an appropriate appointment to enable us to make a thorough assessment of your eyes and offer you the best solutions to meet your needs. We have invested in state-of-the art equipment to ensure that you receive the best possible care.
Our range of technology enables us to perform a number of additional tests to assess and monitor the health of your eyes over the long term.

This includes:

• OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
• Retinal photography
• Visual field analysis

This equipment enables us to offer you an up-to-date eye examination, with the facilities to assess and monitor your eye health over the long term. Our newest acquisition is our OCT system, installed in 2010. It provides us with a high quality, cross-sectional image of the eye. OCT is a highly useful tool for the detection and management of diseases including age-related macular degeneration, diabetes and glaucoma.
